About Kelsey
Hi, I’m Kelsey, and I’m so happy you’re here!
I’m a millennial therapist and coach who values showing up as myself in the room. My style is modern, conversational, and real; because no one wants a stuffy therapist who just nods and asks, “How does that make you feel?” You deserve someone who gets it.
I’ve always been the person people came to for advice, the friend who listened, could see both sides, and ask the deeper questions. Becoming a therapist felt like a natural extension of who I’ve always been. I truly love this work and consider it a privilege to walk alongside people as they heal, grow, and come home to themselves.
Strong relationships take time, and I know your time is your most valuable resource. My goal is to build a connection where you feel safe being open and raw, so we can make the most of our work together. My approach is collaborative with a modern twist. Because therapy talk is important; but you also want your therapist to know about ACOTAR, who the Niners beat on Sunday and which real housewife is the most extra. I blend attachment theory, IFS, somatic awareness, and nervous system education to help you not just understand your patterns, but shift them.
I know what it’s like to sit on both sides of the couch. I’ve experienced the vulnerability and the courage it takes to show up for yourself, and I hold deep respect for every client who walks through my door. I truly love what I do and consider it a privilege to witness people’s healing and growth. At my core, I believe healing isn’t about fixing yourself; it’s about remembering who you’ve always been.
I work with a variety of people, but almost all of my populations I can connect with in some way (because I’ve been there too). Women who are hyper independent and do it all. Child free folks who deal with stigma and navigating a choice that goes against the grain. Child hood trauma survivors, and those that know its not always what happened to you that matters; but also what didn’t. Those who struggle in relationships and navigating dating in the online dating age that is just plain scary at times. AND the person who looks like they have it all together and are super successful on the outside, but barely holding it together on the inside. I see you and I get it.
Outside of Therapy
Outside of the therapy room I am mostly going to be outside or curled up with a book. I love to hike and enjoy my lady bird lake walks (when its not 100 degrees out). I read entirely too much, and probably have a recommendation for you if you need it. I love spending time with my “kids” aka nieces and nephews, as a very overly involved aunt. I am also so lucky that I have a wonderful circle of friends that I get to couch rot with and then also travel the world.
I could not be more honored that you stopped by and I can’t wait to help support you.
